As a prime contractor using the Bid Express Small Business Network® service, you can respond to subcontractor replies. Subcontractors may update their replies, so you can only respond to the latest one. Once you respond, you can view the response message.
To view the sub-quote reply response:
Access the Prime Contractor View on the Small Business Network tab if you are not already there.
In the My Sub-quote Requests table, click the Reads and Replies link under the View Sub-quote number. The Bid Express® service goes to the View Activity page for the request.
Click View Response for the selected reply. If you do not see that option, you have not yet responded to the reply. The Bid Express service opens the reply in your Message Center.
Read the response. When you are finished, click View Associated Activity in the navigation trail to return to the View Activity page.
If you deleted the reply from your message center, the Bid Express service displays a note saying the response has been deleted and is no longer available for viewing.
