The Bid Express Small Business Network is an area on the Bid Express® service website where prime contractors and subcontractors can exchange sub-quote information and communicate about projects. The network is especially helpful in bringing prime contractors and disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) contractors together to meet specific agency requirements.
On the Small Business Network tab, you can request sub-quotes as a prime contractor or submit a response to sub-quote requests as a subcontractor. In addition, subcontractors can create unsolicited sub-quote requests and submit them to contractors.
Anyone with a Bid Express service account can use the Bid Express SBN. To use the Bid Express Small Business Network as a prime contractor, make sure the SBN home page says Prime Contractor View. If you are using it as a subcontractor, the page should say Subcontractor View. To switch views, click the SBN link on the right side of the page.
