Request to Bid With an Agency or Delete a Request

If you do not see this option, the agencies with which you bid may not yet be using the Project Bids Bid component. You will need your bidder ID from the agency and an approved Digital ID in order to submit a request.

Request to Bid

Once you have an approved Digital ID, you will need to request to bid to any agency to which you want to submit bids. You  need only one Digital ID for all agencies. There is a monthly charge for each agency with which you bid.

  1. Click the mybidx icon to get to the My Bidx page if you are not already there.  

  2. Select Bid with AASHTOWare Project Bids in the Account Services section.

  3. Click Request to Bid. The Bid Express service displays the Request to Bid page, which includes any previously made requests to bid.

  4. Click request. The Bid Express service opens the Request to Bid with an Agency window.

  5. Select the agency and the ID holder.

  6. Enter your bidder ID. The Bid Express service displays the name of the organization associated with the bidder ID for the selected agency. Verify this organization name is correct.

  7. Select the check box to authorize the Bid Express service to bill your credit card for using the Digital ID to bid with this agency.

  8. Click save.

When you submit the request, both you and the agency receive an email with the request information. Your request to bid status will change to approved once the agency approves the request.

Remove a Request to Bid

You can remove your request to bid with an agency.

  1. Click the mybidx icon to get to the My Bidx page if you are not already there.  

  2. Select Bid with Project Bids in the Account Services section.

  3. Click Request to Bid.

  4. Click Remove for the ID for which you want to delete the request.

  5. Click ok in the confirmation window.

The Bid Express service removes the request and returns you to the Request to Bid page.
