Attachments - Administration

You can add, overwrite, delete, or download attachments for a specific proposal. Set the attachment types in the Agency section on the Manage Agency page.

If you are using the Bid Express® service with the Appia® service and you postpone a letting, you will lose attachments if they are uploaded at the letting level.  Attachments that have been uploaded for a proposal will not be deleted.

To add an attachment:

  1. Select Manage Lettings, Proposals and Bids in the Letting and Vendor Data section of the Manage Agency page if you are not already there. This brings you to the Manage Lettings page.

  2. Select the letting from the list.

  3. Select the proposal from the letting.

  4. Click Attachments in the upper right corner of the Manage Proposal page.

  5. Click browse.

  6. Navigate to and select your attachment in the Select File to Upload window and click open. You can add more than one attachment at a time by pressing and holding down the ctrl key and selecting each attachment.

  7. Select the attachment type from the Choose attachment type drop down list in the Type column.

  8. Click upload.  The Bid Express service adds the attachment to the Manage Attachments list and displays a success message.

Select the proposal in the navigation trail when you are finished adding attachments.

To delete an attachment:

  1. Select Manage Lettings, Proposals and Bids in the Letting and Vendor Data section of the Manage Agency page. This brings you to the Manage Lettings page.

  2. Select the letting from the list.

  3. Select the proposal from the list.

  4. Click Attachments in the upper right corner of the Manage Letting page.

  5. Click the red X next to the attachment type for the attachment you wish to delete.

  6. Click ok in the delete attachment confirmation window. The Bid Express service deletes the attachment and keeps you on the Manage Attachments page.

Select the proposal in the navigation trail when you are finished deleting attachments.
