The Improvements under this Contract consist of but are
not limited to, bridge rehabilitation (poured joint,
polymer nosing), monitor existing structures (inspection,
settlement, vibration), asphalt (widening, milling,
stabilization, base, superpave, friction course,
miscellaneous), concrete (retaining wall, traffic
separator, curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveways, pipe
filling/plugging), steel (miscellaneous reinforcing,
pedestrian/bike railing), guardrail (pipe rail, special
post, removal, end treatment), drainage (inlets, manhole,
pipe culvert, mitered end), lighting (conductors, relocate
pole, pavement markings (detectable warnings, channelizing
curb), signalization (ITSFM, signal pedestal/pole, signal
pole removal, signal cable, fiber optic locator, vehicular
signal, pedestrian signal, loop), signing
(internally-illuminated, single-post, multi-post, panel,
strip, tubular, object, raised, painted, thermoplastic,
bike lane), traffic monitoring (sensor, loop, cabinet),
conduit, pull/splice box, utility adjustments (manhole,
valve box), MOT (standard, temporary signalization and
maintenance, temporary traffic detection and maintenance),
erosion control (sediment barrier, inlet protection), tree
(removal), and sod along State Road 5 (US-1) from SE
Contractors Way to County Road 732 (North Jensen Beach
Boulevard), at SW Palm City Road, select signalized
intersections, SW Ocean Blvd, north of Bridge No.
890151/890152 (Roosevelt Bridge), and at Bridge No. 890002
(Frazier Creek Bridge) for 3.65 miles in The City of
Stuart, the City of Port Saint Lucie, and unincorporated
Martin County. PRE-QUALIFIED: Contractor needs to be
pre-qualified. PERFORMANCE BOND: A Contract / Performance
bond is required for this project. COMMERCIAL GENERAL
LIABILITY INSURANCE: The limits of coverage shall not be
less than $1,000,000 for each occurrence and not less than
a $5,000,000 annual general aggregate, inclusive of amounts
provided by an umbrella or excess policy. The limits of
coverage described herein shall apply fully to the work or
operations performed under the Contract, and may not be
shared with or diminished by claims unrelated to the
contract. The policy/ies and coverage described herein may
be subject to a deductible. Pay all deductibles as required
by the policy. No policy/ies or coverage described herein
may contain or be subject to a Retention or a Self-Insured
